Back for a Fifth Season of Spirits & Stories
Join us at The Federal for another year of spirited evenings and unforgettable flavors. Now in its fifth season, our Spirit Dinner Series returns with monthly collaborations featuring acclaimed craft distilleries and the culinary artistry of James Beard–nominated Chef Todd Gray.
This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a special tie-in with our big-sister restaurant, Equinox DC. Bar Manager Kevin Macario will lead mixology for every dinner, crafting custom cocktails and personally curating pairings designed to take the experience to the next level.
Each evening features a four-course seasonal menu by Chef Gray, paired with Kevin’s creations, and brought to life with tastings, stories, and behind-the-scenes insight from brand ambassadors and distillers. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or simply curious, these dinners offer a one-of-a-kind journey at the intersection of fine food and fine spirits.

AND the Very Fine Print All dinners are at The Federal, 62A Rehoboth Ave., at 7:00 p.m. Menus will be available online. Seating is limited, and reservations fill quickly. A credit card is required to hold your spot, but will not be charged until the conclusion of the event. Cancellations made within 48 hours or “no-shows” will incur the full dinner fee. We’re happy to accommodate vegetarian, pescatarian, or allergy-related requests with at least 96 hours notice.
